Naked Man Screaming In Driveway Leads To Woman's Arrest For Drug Dealing

A 28-year-old woman is facing a series of charges after being found allegedly unconscious with more than 50 bags of heroin and crack-cocaine while responding to reports of a naked man screaming in a Dutchess County driveway.

New York State Police troopers were dispatched to a Washburn Road home in LaGrange at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, June 18 on a report of a “naked male subject screaming in a driveway.”

Upon arrival at the scene, police said that troopers were able to assist a man who was “unintelligible and scratching his entire body.” While assisting the man and investigating the strange scene, police say that they found LaGrange resident Jeanette Calabrese in a nearby vehicle unconscious, “with a bag of heroin and crack-cocaine in her lap.” 

Further investigation found that Calabrese was in possession of “in excess of 50 bags of heroin, more than .5 grams of crack-cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.


The man was transported to the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital by members of the LaGrange Fire Department for medical evaluation.

Calabrese was arrested at the scene and charged with felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Following arraignment, Calabrese was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. She is due back in the Town of Unionvale Court at a later date to answer the charges.
